Watch Out and Make Room for Some New Girl Scout Cookies!
The classics are evolving and the Girl Scouts are making room for new cookies! It’s almost cookie season and this year is extra special. Girl Scouts is releasing two new cookies. These new cookies are called Rah-Rah raisin and Toffee-tastic.
The Girl Scout cookie tradition began in 1917 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. This beloved tradition began when a troop had a bake sale that sold sugar cookies for a service project in their high school. As this tradition evolved, new cookies were added. Currently the cookie flavors include, Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Do-si-dos, Cranberry Citrus Crisps, Savannah Smiles, Thanks-A-Lots, Lemonades, Trios and now introducing the Rah-Rah raisin and Toffee-tastic. Out of all these delicious cookies, according to the Huffington Post, the Thin Mint is the most popular cookie. February will be here soon and it’ll be time to stock up on a years worth of these scrumptious treats!
